There are more ways than ever to get into Palm Beach County’s art museums for free this month.
The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach announced veterans will receive free admission through August. All Florida residents already get in free on Thursdays through Sept. 3, and Palm Beach County residents get in free every Saturday through the end of the year.
Fresh exhibits highlight the Norton, from an artistic-documentary view of the Black Panthers movement of the 1960s, to whimsical look at how American travel inspired design. The museum hopes to foment interest for its upcoming season, which includes a visit from several famous Impressionists’ works.
In South County, the Boca Museum of Art is granting free admission for everyone the entire month. And they are luring in guests with the promise of a locally trained artist who is now on display at the museum, plus more than 200 photos from their extensive collection, shot of celebrities or by celebrity photographers.
